I have always had no interest towards the TBB shows, and, its "birthday celebration" makes no exception. I guess I turned away because of its bad quality produces which seems to be caused by its monopolised position within the TV industry. But thanks to the satellite installation, I got myself cling to the HK entertainment business. I remember I had a friend who PROUDLY considered herself as the updated-exclusive-know-it-all-expert on HK ent news, it was annoying having someone who would greet like this every single time: (excited, with high-pitch voice) "Hey~ OMG, Do you know what happened to that artist XXX???".
Anyhow, last nite I didn't want to do any studies, instead of going to bed, i go watch what's on TV, and so i watch a bit of the "birthday celebration" with those "artists". Some even got to the extent that it seems to me they are playing "monkey show"... I can't believe how far they would go to impress TBB. But frankly, some parts like the choir humming things (or should i say beatboxing?) were relatively more approachable.
And for its CEO- Mr. Honey, honestly his interviewing show wasn't too bad at all. But he keeps on reminds me Mr. Chan, my primary school teacher who turns out to be a pedophile, they looked eerily similar. *o*

I thought you are talking about your own birthday when I look at the title.
回覆刪除TBB. well, they just keep on making (not asking) people to do something that they are not good at.
artist to sing, singer to act/to be acrobat? it's just wrong.
and HONEY? the show isn't bad, but it's not good either. because he keeps on digging up people's past, but those topics are something no one will ever tell you the truth. so he force people to lie and that makes the show not good.
agree, wonder will things ever change?...
